Program Evaluation at 马会论坛’s

The Master of Science in Program Evaluation is for students interested in providing evaluation, assessment, statistical and grant writing services to nonprofit organizations, various levels of government, and colleges and universities. The degree empowers students to enact the Marianist charism by providing program evaluation to meet community-identified needs and foster a culture of excellence. The program specializes in culturally responsive evaluation, equipping students for impactful roles in the pursuit of the common good.

Program of Study

The program strengthens students鈥 knowledge of advanced concepts in applied statistics, instrument development and measurement, qualitative methods and grant writing. Students are prepared for graduate school, doctoral studies and careers that lie at the intersection of race, class, gender and program evaluation.

Students are connected with local nonprofit organizations through a 3-credit-hour Applied Program Evaluation course.


  • Degree Plans

    Students will conduct Community-Based Research, learn to use R statistical software, and master program evaluation concepts, such as advanced statistics, grant writing and qualitative methods. The degree will be capped off with an applied project through the Advanced Program Evaluation course. Students will have the option of completing a thesis or additional electives.

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree from an accredited institution
  • Satisfactory completion of an undergraduate statistics course
  • Average cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or 3.2 over the last 60 undergraduate hours
